Gramstad training run in Sandnes

Posted by JM on Jan 21, 2013

It was at Gramstad where I first tried barefoot running. The nice thing about Norway is that most of the ground is relatively soft. Gramstad was where I went on one of my first solo run / hikes. I also met a trail runner on the same route, which kind of inspired me a lot. Gramstad is a farm and parking area for hikes up to Dalsnuten and the seven other peaks surrounding Stavanger along the fjord. To say it’s a beautifully picturesque place, would be an understatement. Everything is pretty mind blowing no matter which perspective or view you have. There are also some pretty friendly local sheep there.
