Gramstad training run in Sandnes

It was at Gramstad where I first tried barefoot running. Fortunately most of the ground is relatively soft in Norway, so a good place to experiment for a barefoot beginner.

Gramstad was also where I went on one of my first solo run / hikes in Norway. I met a trail runner on the same route, which kind of inspired me a lot.

Gramstad itself is a farm and parking area for hikes up to Dalsnuten and the seven other peaks surrounding Stavanger and Sandnes along the fjord.

To say it’s a beautifully picturesque place, would be an understatement. Everything is pretty mind blowing no matter which perspective or view you have. There are also some pretty friendly local sheep there.
