We couldn’t have asked for a better pet and house sitter. We arrived home to a calm and happy dog and our home well cared for. We couldn’t even tell Hilde had been here! Hilde is so good with animals and that was obvious in the way our dog behaved when we got home - it was just another day and he blended back into our routine. It was such a relief to know our dog was in good hands. Hilde also gave us updates and photos along the way which was so great. I can’t recommend Hilde and Jasmin (they are a team!) highly enough.

Jasmin and Hilde were very friendly, approachable and clearly very competent from our first meeting. Their communication beforehand and for the duration of their stay was clear and we enjoyed the photo updates of Maggie. Jasmin and Hilde obviously enjoy looking after pets as they took great care of ours. The house was left in an immaculate condition on their departure, which we were grateful for. It was lovely to arrive home to a clean, orderly house, and a happy dog. We would love for Jasmin and Hilde to sit for us again and have no hesitation in recommending them.

Jasmin and Hilde looked after our house, garden and 45 acre property for 4 months in 2022 from the end of April 2022 to the end of August 2022. We were very happy with this arrangement. Jasmin contacted us regularly with information and any questions. They kept the garden tidy and watered the greenhouses. The biggest task was looking after our 4 goats and approx. 20 elderly sheep. They are both real animal lovers and tended them with great care. This involved feeding them hay, checking their water and their health and seeking assistance from our neighbour, when necessary. Jasmin and Hilde kept the house clean and neat and, though it was a cold winter were modest in their use of firewood. They are totally reliable house sitters and we very much appreciated their diligence, honesty and attention to the tasks given.

We were fortunate to have Hilde and Jasmin look after our home and 2 cats. On our return we were greeted by two contented cats and a clean orderly home. We are very pleased they are able to house sit again, so that we can travel with peace of mind knowing that our home and pets (now including chickens) are in safe and capable hands. I would highly recommend Hilde and Jasmin as house sitters.

I’d like thank Hildegunn for house and pet sitting for 2 weeks in Jan 2021. It was great to have her come a day before I left so I could explain and show her where Ivy liked to go for her walks and also how things in the house worked. She did a wonderful job as Ivy looked well on my return and the house was very clean and tidy. I would definitely use her house and pet sitting services again. We feel so fortunate to have had Hildegunn and Jasmin house & pet sit for us and would have no hesitation recommending them to others. We were very confident to leave our home, small farm, farm animals and beloved dogs in their care. Most importantly our dogs took to them instantly. We hope to continue the relationship and to have Hildegunn & Jasmin sit for us again.
November 2019 - October 2020: Dominique - Caveside TAS Australia
We looked after three red horses, brushed them, collected their pooh, fed them and cared for any issues. There were also three cats to look after. All very individual and not lap cats. We had to look after one when she was attacked by another cat on two occasions, taking her to the vet and adminstering medication. The garden is big and beautiful, with a veggie patch and some care (watering, pruning, harvesting) was required. We stayed through Covid lockdowns and it was a bit of a different housesit because of this, as the owners were home. In the end we cut the housesit short because of having the owner and her partner living with us, and the owner’s erratic and aggressive behaviour. This may have resulted in not being given a review, even though we looked after the house and animals as instructed.
July 2018: Ula & Keith - Macclesfield VIC Australia
Jasmin and Hilde were wonderful house sitters. We have a 20 acre farm with 5 horses and 3 dogs and they treated our home and our pets as if it were their home and pets. I think our dogs actually liked them more than us! :) They took one of our active kelpies out running and looked after our older kelpie post surgery and assisted with his rehabilitation which I am very grateful for - we were quite worried leaving him. Our horses were very well looked after, and we were emailed throughout our trip to let us know that everything was going well. We couldn’t have asked for better farm sitters! Jasmin and Hidegunn were exceptional. The main requirement for looking after a farm and its inhabitants is common sense which these girls have in abundance. They were thoroughly attentive and made sure before we left that they were confident with everything they would need to do while we were away. They spent the week we were together totally spoiling us with their cooking. They both have an amazing sense of humor and an honest and natural love for all living things. They coped exceptionally well with the couple of serious accidents that happened through no fault of theirs and made sure no lasting problems remained. We wouldn’t hesitate to have these lovely ladies back on our farm or where ever we might end up either to house sit or to stay as friends. They are completely honest and trustworthy and we would highly recommend them to anyone needing caring, confident and competent house sitters. The cats certainly miss them now!

Jasmin and Hildegun came to house and pet sit for me for just a few days. But they made such an impression on both myself and my pets that I would always welcome them back into my home for further sits. Their gentle approach to the animals led to the animals being relaxed and comfortable in their company. The required jobs were carried out with efficiency and respect and they treated the animals as they were their own. When I arrived home, they each had a cat on their lap and the dog was curled up by the fire. They are clean, tidy and polite and friendly people and I also very much enjoyed their company in the days either side of my being away. Would highly recommend them to anyone who loves their animals and is wanting genuine caring animal loving people to pet and house sit.

It is hard to find the words to explain how wonderful these two ladies were when they house sat for us in December 2017 and then again in Jan 2018. We were very specific about what we wanted done with our pets and garden, Jasmin followed our instructions to the letter. They loved and cared for our pets so much that our dog was fretting for them after they left. Our house was spotless when they left and a meal was cooked for us when we arrived home. Jasmine sent regular photos of our happy pets when we were away. I would have no hesitation in having them back again so much so that we have made them promise that if they are coming our way again they are to give us first option for a house sit. Highly recommended.

Jasmine and Hildegunn stayed with us for a fortnight and were very reliable and quick in completing tasks. We also enjoyed the results of their cooking skills. We appreciated their tidiness and always found them ready to lend a hand if something needed to be done. Stelios was very pleased with their efforts in the garden, even helping to lift and shift a shed. We recommend them very highly. They are sadly missed by Maxi - he loved their attention.

Jasmin and Hildagunn WWOOFed at our farm for two weeks. We found them to be extremely hard working and efficient and conscientious in all ways and were a pleasure to have. I would recommend them to anyone and we are having them back here to look after our farm while we go away because we know they will do a wonderful job. They are also very honest and trustworthy.
