Thanks to Hannah, Kylie, Anna and Hildegunn for coming on the Bakers Beach to Badger Head hike. The morning in Chudleigh looked bleak with fog and a chilling 2 degrees. As we headed towards the coast it brightened up and at Badger Head it was a sizzling 6 degrees. Once at Bakers Beach, we started out on the track towards Archers Knob. Soon it was time to stop and shed our winter layers. The path made its way down onto the beach and it was like another world. The weather was almost balmy and I suppressed the sudden urge to run into the water for a swim 😝 The sun shone on us as we zigzaged up Little Badger Head among the bottlebrushes and scrub, and soon we were at Copper Cove having lunch and sunbathing. It wasn’t long before we continued and then followed Badger Head around to Badger Beach. It ended up being a beautiful sunny day and enjoyed by all. Thanks for the good company, good snacks and good time.
