It was a beautiful winter’s day with blue skies and sunshine when we arrived at Wynyard Yacht Club to meet up with Annie, Karen and Kylie. We drove out to the start of the walk about 1.8 km from the Bass Highway. The walk followed the Inglis river through some ferny patches, over footbridges across the river, and alongside eucalypts lining the river until we approached the ocean end of Wynyard. The weather was perfect. We had a lovely picnic at the end enjoying the good company.
