We spent two days doing some difficult research for Map of Tassie: testing out some ideas and plans we have for future camping, van life and outdoor events in sensational Tasmanian nature.
We took the opportunity to join Camille Nelson on the road, where we headed to Lagoons Beach Conservation Area on the East Coast for an overnight stay, followed by a morning swim in a lagoon before a walk on the beach.
Later a drive up to St Helens and Humbug Point Nature Recreation Area, for a night around a camp fire. The next day an amazing 10 km leisurely circuit walk around Humbug Point starting at Dora Point up to Moulting Bay and back.
